Manage Certificates

Certificates can be a great opportunity to support your credibility as a supplier. To manage your attached certificates, go to the toolbar at the top of the page, and click Products. The dropdown menu will appear, click on Manage Certificates. You will then be taken to the Manage Certificates page.

If you have already added certificates you will find these certificates displayed in a table with the certificate name, description, expiry dates, details on who has provided the certification, the certificate file as well as links to edit the certificate and to assign it to products.

 

 

 

Adding a new certificate

 

You can add a new certificate by clicking Add New. You will then be taken to a new page with a number of boxes that you are required to complete. The default date here is the current time of the website, so make sure to adjust it to the certificate's expiry date.

Under Certificate File you have the option to browse your computer files and select the certificate (pdf file or image).

Click Upload to add the certificate.

 

You can add other types of documents as well, not just certificates, but for example product specifications or material safety datasheets. If the document you are adding does not have an expiry date, remove the date from the Expiry Date field, and then click on Save.

Note that if you Edit the certificate or document, the date will auto-populate again, and will need to be removed again.

 

Assigning a certificate to a product

 

Once you have added a new certificate, you will find it in the table. If you wish to assign the certificate to any products follow the link in the table marked Assign to Products. This will take you to a page where you can select the products you want to assign the certificate to. You can select more than one product at a time. Use the filter to find specific products to assign to.

After publishing the product datasheet, the certificate information will then be provided to the customers on the online shop with a reference to the document on the Product Information Sheet.

 

Click the Apply Changes button to assign the certificate to the selected products.

 

Note that you can also use the Assign function to view current assignments, without making any changes.

 

Deleting a certificate

To completely remove a certificate from the system, tick the Check to Delete box, then click the button Delete. You can remove several certificates at once.
